With tiRimborso, you can make sure you have the option of a refund for tickets bought under the following offers: Economy, Super Economy, FrecciaYoung, FrecciaSenior, Young, Senior, Me&You, Insieme, Freccia 2X1, FrecciaDAYS, Special Events, FrecciaMUSIC and FrecciaFRIENDS.
You can add the tiRimborso option through all sales channels when purchasing your ticket. It costs €2 for the Super Economy, FrecciaYoung, FrecciaSenior, Freccia 2X1, FrecciaDAYS, Me&You, Insieme, Special Events, FrecciaMUSIC and FrecciaFRIENDS offers, and €1 for the Economy, Young and Senior offers.
The option allows you to request a refund up to midnight on the second day before the departure of your train, subject to a 10% deduction from the original purchase price.
For the Economy, Super Economy, Young, Senior, Me&You, Freccia 2x1, Insieme, Special Events, FrecciaMUSIC and FrecciaFRIENDS offers, the refund amount will be credited to the same payment method you used for your original purchase. For the FrecciaYoung, FrecciaSenior and FrecciaDAYS offers, the refund will take the form of a bonus valid for the purchase of a new ticket. The bonus is valid for twelve months from the date of issue and cannot be converted into cash.
For the Freccia 2X1, Me&You, Insieme and FrecciaFRIENDS offers, the tiRimborso option must be purchased by all members of the group, and refunds will be made at the same time for all passengers. The option is valid for travel on Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca, Intercity, Intercity Notte and Eurocity trains on national routes.
The tiRimborso option cannot be purchased for tickets with a total cost of €10 or less. The cost of the tiRimborso option is non-refundable and non-compensable, and does not count towards the collection of points through the X-GO or CartaFRECCIA Programme.
