  • Until 11:59 p.m. on the day before the trip, you can make an unlimited number of time and date changes.
  • On the day of your journey you can make an unlimited number of time changes until the scheduled departure time of the train you’ve selected.
  • You can buy your Digital Regionale Ticket on this website, on the Trenitalia App, from authorised Travel Agencies, and on the Trenitalia Tper website.

After 19 October, you can also buy your Digital Regionale Ticket at station ticket offices. The revolution of Regionale trains continues, through increasingly sustainable and environmentally aware practices, even when it comes to ticket purchasing options.

  • Until when can I purchase my Digital Regionale Ticket?

    You can purchase your Digital Regionale Ticket up to 5 minutes before the train’s schedule departure.

  • Where can I buy my Digital Regional Ticket?

    You can buy your Digital Regionale Ticket on this website, on the Trenitalia App or Call Centre, from authorised Travel Agencies, and on the Trenitalia Tper website. And after 19 October 2024, you can also buy it at station ticket offices.

  • Where will I find the Digital Regionale Ticket I purchased?

    If you purchased after logging in, you will find your ticket in the "My Trips" area of the website or on the Trenitalia App
    If you purchased it without login, open the link in the email or SMS you received (if requested).

  • Where will I find my purchased Digital Regional Ticket?

    If you logged in before purchasing, you will find your ticket in the “My journeys” area on the Trenitalia website or App.

    If you purchased your ticket without logging in, open the link in the e-mail or text message (if requested) you received.

  • Can I add the digital ticket to my wallet?

    The new digital ticket contains some advanced functions that currently prevent it from being added to the wallet.

  • When can I change my Digital Regionale Ticket?

    You can make an unlimited number of date/time changes until 23:59 on the day before your trip.
    On the day of your journey you can make an unlimited number of time changes until the scheduled departure time of the train you’ve selected.
    You will receive a confirmation by e-mail and, if requested, by SMS of any change made.

    You only need to show the modified ticket during inspection activities.

  • What should I do if the train is late with respect to the scheduled time?

    If you don’t wish to board that train, you can change your departure time until the scheduled departure time of your chosen train.

    If you do not wish to board the train, but your ticket has already been validated, you may board the next available train (same route, category and class) without further charges.

  • What should I show to on-board staff on ticket inspection duty?

    Show your Digital Regionale Ticket with the green dynamic bar,
    which will automatically appear when the scheduled train departs.

    If requested, you must also present a valid identification document.
    The Digital Regionale Ticket is nominative and personal and is non-transferable.

  • How long does the Digital Regionale Ticket remain active and verifiable by on-board staff?

    The Digital Regionale Ticket remains valid until the scheduled arrival of the train(s) at destination and is valid only for the validated train(s).
    If your train runs late and your Digital Regionale Ticket expires, you can still complete your journey to the destination.
