10 journeys with 50% discount
If you’re under the age of 30 and you’ve signed up to X-GO, take advantage of the IC Young 10-Journey Carnet, which lets you make 10 Intercity journeys on the same route with a 50% discount.
The Carnet is non-transferable, valid for use within 180 days, and restricted to X-GO Members under the age of 30.
The Carnet is available for all classes and can be purchased through all Trenitalia sales channels, as well as from authorised travel agencies. On board the train, it is necessary to provide the Carnet code and to show your X-GO card and an ID document.
Remember that each journey must be booked after your purchase of the carnet, using the special Other options/Carnets link present on the homepage.

It is not possible to purchase an Intercity Young carnet without signing up to X-GO.
To purchase through this website, log in with your X-GO credentials, click the "Purchase" link, select "Carnet" and enter the details requested.
The system will automatically check your entitlement to the discounted fare available for Under-30s.
Carnets cannot be used for travel solutions involving multiple trains.
To make bookings on this website, you can use the Other options/Carnets link present on the homepage, select BOOK WITH CARNET and enter your Carnet number as well as the other details requested.
You can make bookings through all Trenitalia sales channels and with authorised travel agencies using your carnet number Bookings may only be used by the registered Carnet user. You must book and travel within 180 days of the carnet issue date. At the end of the 180-day period, you can no longer use any remaining bookings.
An unlimited number of booking changes can be made to individual journeys booked with a Carnet before the departure of the booked train, within the Carnet validity period. After departure, and for up to one hour afterwards, you can request one single modification, exclusively at the departure station indicated on the ticket.
Changes to the Carnet and the individual ticket are not permitted.
The entire Carnet can be refunded before it is used for the first time, within the validity period of the Carnet, subject to a 20% deduction.
Individual journeys booked through the Carnet cannot be refunded.
