The CartaFreccia Programme has been extended for all of 2026!

Keep collecting points to request your rewards until 31 March 2027*.

Earning points is very simple: just enter your personal CartaFreccia code before every purchase and make sure that it is displayed on the ticket.
The higher the value of the ticket purchased, the more points will be credited to you. Remember that only journeys carried out by the cardholder can be used to collect points.

For every euro spent on Frecce, Eurocity and Euronight trains (only for the route in Italy), you earn 1 CartaFreccia point.
These points can be used to request numerous rewards and even help you to reach CartaFreccia Argento, Oro e Platino status.
However, 2nd class/standard season tickets and Italy-Switzerland journeys on Eurocity trains can only be used to collect reward points.

Promotion: if you have purchased a monthly HS season ticket and you do not travel every day, CartaFreccia will reward you with 10 extra points for every reservation not made or cancelled. The extra points will be credited within 10 days of the end of the season ticket’s validity. This promotion cannot be combined with other point collection promotions.

*The extension only applies to the collection of reward points, which you can use until 31 March 2027. Collection of Status points – required to reach Argento, Oro and Platino levels – ended on 31 December 2025. The new status points counter started on 1 January 2026, and points can be accumulated until 31 December 2026.

For every euro spent purchasing tickets for the Frecciarossa, Frecciargento and Frecciabianca services, both “status points” and “reward points” are earned.

When purchasing services/products from Partners, however, or in the event of any ongoing promotional initiatives, only “reward points” are earned.

The “status points” serve to qualify the Cardholder for Argento, Oro, Platino o Platino infinito status.

The “reward points”, on the other hand, allow the Cardholder to claim railway rewards and rewards from the CartaFreccia Collection catalogue once specific thresholds are reached.

Please note that the following types of purchases do not entitle you to earn points:

  • Deferred payment offers;
  • Tickets and season tickets subject to integrated ticketing between multiple transport operators (e.g. Unico Campania, Metrebus, Formula, Pegaso, etc.);
  • Tickets for Historical Trains;
  • Fixed series tickets;
  • Tickets relating to promotional offers, unless otherwise indicated in the terms and conditions of sale for the offer in question;
  • Tickets for Licensed Railways;
  • Access rights;
  • “Tutto Treno” cards and similar;
  • Tickets for transporting animals;
  • Supplement for transporting bicycles;
  • Tickets purchased on board the train;
  • Tickets for payments due to changes to the journey date;
  • Tickets for international journeys;
  • Tickets not used by the CartaFreccia cardholder, even if they were purchased by the cardholder;
  • Intercity/Intercity Notte and regional transport tickets.

We remind you that points for purchased tickets will only be credited after the date on which the journey takes place, whereas points for carnets will be accredited at the time of purchase.

The 2022/26 CartaFreccia Contest began on 1 June 2022 and will end on 31 December 2026, and rewards can be claimed until 31 March 2027. You have until 31 December 2025 to collect status points.
