You can register for online check-in immediately after booking your vehicle. This simplifies your pick-up procedure: at the rental location, you’ll only need to collect your keys, with no need to print any documents.

Remember to bring with you: your driver’s licence, payment card and ID.

When you arrive at one of the Avis, Budget and/or Maggiore rental offices, go directly to the key collection point, where the staff in charge will give you all the necessary information.

• Maggiore, Avis and Budget offers are valid for rentals in Italy and abroad that have been booked and carried out by 31 December 2026, and are not cumulative with other promotions.
• All car categories are included, with the exception of the Prestige, Select, and Sport Cars fleets (car models are shown for illustrative purposes only: the reserved category is guaranteed, not the specific model).
• Prices vary based on the car type, rental duration, as well as the pick-up date and location.
• Discounts will be applied to the time and mileage component of the service, net of VAT, taxes, and any promotional discounts, and do not account for any additional products purchased. 
• CartaFreccia points are non-qualifying and do not count toward achieving statuses. With CartaFreccia reward points, you can request rewards from the CartaFreccia Collection catalogue, free tickets, cashback, and much more.
• To earn CartaFreccia reward points, you must enter your membership code and status during the booking process and present your CartaFreccia card upon vehicle pick-up.
• CartaFreccia reward points will be calculated and credited on the time and mileage component of the rental, net of VAT, taxes, dedicated discounts, and any promotional discounts.
• For direct bookings made via the Avis, Maggiore, and Budget websites in Italy, you can earn 1 point for every euro spent, up to a maximum of 50 CartaFreccia reward points per rental.
• The CartaFreccia points will be credited within 45 days from the date of check-out;
• Monthly rentals, corporate rentals, rentals with prepaid vouchers, rentals made through broker channels, and rentals booked online by travel agencies and tour operators are excluded from earning CartaFreccia points.
• To receive the CartaFreccia reward points, dedicated discounts, and benefits provided for each rental, CartaFreccia members must use the search engine on Trenitalia's channels and enter the required booking details.
• In the event that CartaFreccia reward points are not credited, members may submit a claim within 1 month following the end of the standard 45-day crediting period; simply contact the Avis Budget Maggiore customer service directly by sending an email to emea.intermediary@abg.com.
