Status points collected during the course of the calendar year expire on 31 December. Points accumulated in 2025 have been reset to zero, and collection of status points restarted in January 2026. You have until 31 December 2026 to reach or continue with an exclusive status!

Change reservation on board the train
With CartaFreccia Oro, you can change your reservation directly on board the train, at no additional cost. Check that your ticket allows travel from 1 hour before until 1 hour after the departure of the booked train. Remember to present your CartaFreccia Oro card together with your ticket.

As a promotional offer, CartaFreccia Oro customers are allowed to change their booking on board the train for travel on Frecce, Intercity and Intercity Notte trains from 1 hour before and up to 1 hour after the departure of the booked train, without paying the €10 penalty, provided payment is made immediately on board.
The customer must show the on-board staff their CartaFreccia and an ID card.
This concession is only valid for tickets that allow access to another train (excluding season tickets and reservations supporting season tickets). Please note that the cardholder's CartaFreccia number must be shown on the ticket.
Assigned seating is not guaranteed.
Should the journey take place in a time span other than that permitted, the passenger shall be considered to be without a ticket.
