Frecciarossa
The Wi-Fi Fast Internet service, provided by Icomera, is available on Frecciarossa trains and features instant access: just one flag and you're online*.

The service utilizes a multi-operator system, ensuring stable and fast browsing. Currently, the service is available on all Frecciarossa 1000, Frecciarossa ETR700, Frecciarossa ETR600 trains, and on almost all Frecciarossa ETR500 trains.

Frecciargento, FRECCIAClub and FRECCIALounge
The Wi-Fi Internet service, provided by Telecom Italia, is available on Frecciargento trains. Registration is required to access the service. Registration is unique and only has to be done once. The credentials created during registration (mobile number and password) can be used to access the service without time limitations on all subsequent journeys aboard Frecciargento trains and in the FRECCIAClub and FRECCIALounge areas. It is also possible to access the Internet for free using non-Italian mobile numbers (i.e., with an international dialling code different from +39)**.

** For the sole purpose of validating and certifying the identity of the user, credit card information must be entered and the symbolic amount of 5 cents will be reserved (this reserve does not result in any charge to the cardholder's credit card).
 

  • Check that the device you are using is receiving the WiFi signal correctly.
  • Disable the use of random hardware MAC addresses from the device's Wi-Fi settings.
  • In your device's Wi-Fi settings, delete/forget/dissociate the two SSIDs "WiFi Frecciarossa" and "WiFi Frecciarossa." and then reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
  • Check that a VPN connection is not active on the device; if it is, disable it and close all associated processes via the Task Manager. Verify that the VPN application is updated to the latest release.
  • Check that the TCP/IP parameters (IP and DNS address) are set to automatic mode.
  • If the device is connected to the Wi-Fi network but the authentication portal is not displayed, open your browser and enter the following address: www.frecciaplay.it
  • Empty the browser cache.
  • Check that the browser is updated.
  • Check that any Proxy configurations have been disabled on the navigation browser.
  • Check that the device you are using is receiving the WiFi signal correctly.
  • Check that the TCP/IP parameters (IP and DNS address) are set to automatic mode.
  • In your device's Wi-Fi settings, delete/forget the SSID and reconnect to the onboard Wi-Fi.
  • Make sure that the browser supports 128-bit encryption (most recent browsers natively support this mode).
  • Check that any Proxy configurations have been disabled on the navigation browser.
  • Empty the browser cache.
  • Check that the browser is updated.
  • Also check that the "data saving" feature on your browser, if available, is not enabled.
  • If the device is connected to the Wi-Fi network but the authentication portal is not displayed, open your browser and enter the following address: www.frecciaplay.it
