To request reward tickets, you just need to have 1,000 points in your balance!

Three categories of reward tickets are available depending on the km* to be travelled and choosing between 5 service classes.

Here are some examples of reward tickets:

  • Florence – Bologna 2nd class or Standard > 1,000 points
  • Rome-Naples 2nd class or Standard > 1,000 points

MEDIUM reward tickets (.pdf file)

  • Milan-Venice 2nd class or Standard > 1,300 points

* The commercial distance is taken from the Trenitalia Official Handbook of Distances in Kilometres. For some connections, the distance is virtual in that it does not consider route reductions made over time to improve the rail network (this prevision was introduced by Ministerial Decree no. 6925 of 1974).

Reward tickets will be available for as long as they are marketed by Trenitalia and provided they comply with the availability of seats for the requested journey.

If you are purchasing solutions with multiple trains, you must request a reward ticket for each individual route (for example, for a journey from Reggio Calabria – Milan with Frecciargento from Reggio Calabria to Rome and then with Frecciarossa from Rome to Milan, you must request two reward tickets).

The reward ticket can be used by both the cardholder and a third party.

As part of a promotion, once the reward ticket has been issued, it is possible to make a change to your booking up to the moment the train departs.

Refunds shall not be granted, except for causes attributable to Trenitalia.
