Designed especially for organizing group trips for pleasure, business or for participating in religious, sporting or musical events, Trenitalia's Charter solution makes available whole trains reserved for group mobility.
Clients simply have to decide on times, route, the use and the objectives they want to reach: the "made to measure" train can meet all kinds of requirement as we have 12 trains arranged differently that allow for travel also outside Italy to other European countries.
And for pilgrimage destinations, travelling by Charter train provides even greater value, with the special tariff calculated by distance travelled.
The Charter trains can be made up of:

- Carriages with seats
- Couchette carriages
- Carriages with beds/stretchers for the infirm or disabled
- Luggage carriages with gas-powered cooking equipment for making hot meals
- Traditional luggage carriages
- Restaurant/coffee-bar Carriages

Subject to availability, also the ETR 450 and 500 electric trains can also be booked which belong to the Eurostar Italia fleet.

Thanks to the convenience they offer, the charter trains to pilgrimage locations are in high demand. The main requests in Italy are for Loreto, Assisi, Rome/the Vatican, S. Giovanni Rotondo, and Padua while outside Italy they are for Lourdes, Verviers, Fatima and Cracow.
