Disabled passengers

The reference point for all travel needs of disabled customers are the Disabled Assistance Centres, which, on customers' request, organize assistance around a circuit of 225 stations..
The Centres in the 15 main stations, provide these services:
- information
- place bookings
- making wheelchairs available
- guide at the station and escorting to the train
- guide until train leaves the station or to another connecting train
- getting on/off with lift-van for wheelchair customers
- possible hand baggage service, free on request (1 item)
- distribution of information material
Opening hours: every day from 7 to 21

International journeys
The requests for assistance may be sent at least 24 hours before departure:
- to the reference CADs of the stations where the booked international trains stop;
or
- at the CAD in Roma Termini station [assistenzaclientidisabili.rm@trenitalia.it, tel (+39) 06 4881726] Monday to Friday (7-21:00) (h. 7.00-21.00)
The service is provided subject to prior agreement with the Assistance Centre.
Customers must report to the assistance point in the station 30 minutes before train departure.
If customers no longer require the service, we kindly request they notify the Assistance Centres to this effect at least 4 hours before the expected departure.

FARE REDUCTIONS

For blind people
This card gives special fare reductions to blind people.

For war invalids and the services
Fare reductions are given to war invalids and the services (Italian citizens residing in Italy).
