The Socio fare is the good value solution for Cartaviaggio holders only that allows you to choose according to your finances and your travel habits. You can use it for a limited number of seats that vary according to the day, the train and the class, and it has two discount levels.


The Socio (member) tariff is divided into 3 solutions:

Junior: For young people of up to 26 years of age who hold Cartaviaggio cards, giving 10% or 20% discounts off the normal fare. It includes the seat booking.The minimum price is 10 euro.

Senior: For over-60s who hold Cartaviaggio cards, giving 10% or 20% discounts off the normal fare. It includes the seat booking.The minimum price is 10 euro.

Familia: a special offer for family groups travelling in 3-5 including at least one adult and one child of up to 12, including free seat booking and a discount of 15% or 25% (adults) and 50% (children) off the normal rate (30% for couchettes and wagons-lits). At least one member of the group must be a Cartaviaggio holder.

Change of reservation	Before the train leaves: twice free for places available on the Socio offer, on payment of the difference in fare if there are no seats available on the offer No change after the train has left
Change ticket	Once until the train leaves, paying the price difference and the change fee
Get another train	This is allowed on the same day and until 3 hours after the train leaves, or on the first possible train of the same or a lower class on payment of the difference in fare plus 8 euro.On other days, travellers are considered as being without a ticket
Refund	Before the train leaves: refund less 20%
