This year again, the Italian State Railways will take part, with many special offers, in the fifth edition of the "White Night" planned for 8 September.

In the three main stations of Roma Termini, Tiburtina, Ostiense- the travellers lounges and catering points will remain open throughout the night.

In the spaces made available by "Grandi Stazioni" (Italy's state railway group), in Piazza dei Cinquecento, "Mura Serviane" side " Journeys of the Soul " - will be staged. It is a theatrical performance about dreams and the journeys in out of the ordinary imagined in the different cultures of the world.

In the station of Roma Ostiense, Centostazioni ("100 Stations") (Italy's state railway group) will host "Trialogue in a night", a concert-event from an original project by one of Israel's most talented composers and guitarists, Yuval Avital,. Ten great artists from Japan, China, Israel, Italy and Greece will put on an unusual show, demonstrating the wonders of the human voice, instruments from distant cultures - didgeridoo, double bass, wind percussion - and suggestions of electronic music, elevated by video-projections and light plays.

Trialogue is an original combination of western and eastern approaches, and of traditional and avant-garde; it favours a lot of improvisation. The Ostiense event is one of the stages of the "2007 Trialogue Festival", a an international circuit deriving from the meetings of Avital with musicians from the world over, and from the desire to "build bridges" between people and culture.

To follow, from 3 in the morning onwards, Trialogue will open up to everyone who wants to play and sing with the group of artists.
