From 12 to 20 May 2007 the Ninth edition of the Week of Culture takes place, this year entitled "There is Art for you. Archeology, architecture, art, file, archives, cinema, landscape, performances".

The event aims at promoting Italy's cultural assets is the largest annual showcase of the country's ministry for cultural heritage and activities and is included within the "Magnifico Project" in which also Trenitalia takes part.

The event aims at promoting 2,000 initiatives throughout Italy.Some 91 extraordinary openings are planned of sites normally closed to the public; 18 new openings; more than 450 exhibitions; 600 guided visits to museums, archeological sites, monuments, and to ongoing- or recently completed restoration projects; about 200 shows (concerts, dance, film or prose); 300 conferences and conferences; 137 teaching initiatives for young people, and more besides. All the places of state art and many other sites of other public and private administration will be open free of charge.
