InterRail is the pass offer dedicated to all European residents (anyone who has been living in a European country for at least 6 months). It allows you unlimited travel, in first or second class, in one or all of the following countries: 

Western Europe: Austria, Benelux, Eire, France, Germany, United Kingdom (does not include Northern Ireland), Greece, Greece Plus (including the sea route Greece-Italy with the ferry companies "Superfast Ferries" and "Blue Star Ferries"), Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

Northern Europe: Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Eastern Europe:Bosnia-Herzegovina (with global InterRail only), Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey

InterRail passes can be bought at any international tickets window in railway stations all over Europe, at authorized travel agencies, and on this site.

1. InterRail Global and InterRail Global YOUTH

These Passes offer unlimited travel on the trains of the railway companies participating in InterRail, with the sole exception of the traveller's own country of residence. For the trip up to the border and back, each participating railway company grants reduced train fares (no less than 25% off the full fare).

These passes offer unlimited travel on the trains of the national railway company in one country or group of countries (such as the Benelux ).
You can NOT use the InterRail One Country Pass for travel in your own country.
