On our trains you can travel with your dog or cat or other small pet in the cases listed here and with the following formalities.

On all bookable trains (Express trains, Intercity, Intercity Plus, Intercity Notte (night), AV, ES*, ES* City, and tBiz) you must book the journey requesting the transport of the animal, at the same time as ticket issuance. The reservation will be made free, also in trains for which booking is charged extra.
Tickets and bookings for journeys with pets may be requested solely at the station ticket desks and authorized travel agencies.
