Following the works planned on the
Brenner line from
11 June-30 September 2012, there will be changes to the circulation of the
EC trains managed by the DB-ÖBB rail companies.
Calendar with changes to circulation
DB-ÖBB EC trains via Brenner:
Venice - Munich and vice-versa (EC 86,1288 and EC 1289,87)
Verona - Munich and vice-versa (EC 88, 80, 188 and EC 81,89,83) Bologna - Munich and vice-versa (EC 84 and EC 85)
Closure date:
Partial closure of transit between Brenner and Innsbruck, with one-way circulation only > possible delays to the service on:
June: 11-15, 19-22, 26-29 July: 3-13, 17-31 August: 1-5 September: 11-14, 18-21, 25-30
Total closure of transit between Brenner and Innsbruck, with train-bus reshipment at the border, on: June: 16-18, 23-25, 30 July: 1-2, 14-16 August: 6-31 September: 1-10, 15-17, 22-2.
Replacement buses for all EC trains, on the stretch between Brenner and Innsbruck, replacement buses will be provided:
from Brenner in the station square; from Innsbruck at Autoverladestelle Sud.
In the event of delays on the replacement buses, the trains wait 10 to 15 minutes; for longer delays, passengers must use the next train.
On all the EC trains, the 1st class seats are subject to limited availability. Disabled passengers can only book EC 86 and 88 trains leaving Italy and EC 83 and 85 leaving Germany.
Transporting bicycles is only possible on EC 86 and 88 trains leaving Italy and on EC 83 and 85 trains leaving Germany.
