Frecciarossa trains offer a fast, comfortable and safe way to travel.

The fleet is made up of ETR 500 trains, with a fixed composition, designed to reach 360 km/h, which travel at 300 km/h on the high speed lines.

The cars all have climate control and sound insulation, ergonomic seats to offer maximum comfort, and luggage areas for large bags in the vestibules of the cars.

There are electrical sockets provided by all the seats for working with a computer, watching films and listening to music and a sound diffusion system for travel information and connections in the stopping stations.
In order to guarantee a consistently clean service on Frecciarossa trains, there is a “travelling cleaner” service.

There are single toilets for men and women in each car. In car number 3 the following services are available: 2 business rooms (with 4 seats each), and an area and toilet equipped for disabled passengers with wheelchairs.

In the special car 5, located at the middle of the train, there is a buffet service open all the time and a restaurant open for lunch and evening meals.

Exclusive on-board services

On traditional Frecciarossa trains, a welcome drink with high quality products is served to 1st class passengers and, in the morning, a newspaper of their choice.

On new Frecciarossa trains:
In Executive quality products and drinks are served throughout journey and gourmet dishes are served to the seats for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Newspapers and monthly magazines are also available. 
In Business a welcome drink is served with high quality products and newspapers in the morning. 
In Premium, welcome snacks and drinks are served and newspapers in the morning.
