Comfort and speed for our most demanding customers

The Frecciargento trains are for people travelling between Rome and Venice, Verona/Brescia/Bolzano, Bari/Lecce, Lamezia Terme/ReggioCalabria and between Naples and Venice looking for high standards of comfort and speed.

Since they are tilting trains, they permit high speed travel even on the more tortuous routes and are therefore used on mixed stretches made up of High Speed and traditional lines. Therefore, the Frecciargento trains have enabled access to the High Speed system for the North-East and South of Italy, bringing them closer to the capital.

The inside of the trains has been designed to offer maximum comfort to passengers, with climate control and sound insulation, as well as lighting and good visibility out of the cars.

A welcome service is provided on the trains for first class passengers, as well as their choice of the main Italian newspapers, only on morning trains. There is a bar/bistrot service available for all passengers with tasty sandwiches and a wide range of hot and cold dishes.
