The Blue Hall (SALA BLU) is the reference point for disabled customers where the assistance service is organised and coordinated the assistance circuit in 251 stations nationwide.  

The service is provided subject to prior agreement with the Blue Hall. Customers must report to the assistance point in the station 30 minutes before train departure. If customers no longer require the service, we kindly request they notify the Blue Hall to this effect at least 4 hours before the expected departure.

The Blue Hall is present in 14 main stations and provides the following services 

• information
• seat bookings
• wheelchairs availability
• guide at the station and escorting to the train
• guide until train leaves the station or to another connecting train
• getting on/off with lift-van for wheelchair customers 
• possible hand baggage service, free on request (1 item) 
• distribution of information material

How to ask for the assistance service

Minimum notification time to book the service 

1 hour before departure in the time band 08.00-22.00, for the connections between the main stations requested by telephone or from the Blue Halls12 hours before departure for other connections between the stations on the assistance circuit
24 hours before departure - for the connections requested by email at the local Blue Hall;
- for international journeys

International journeys
The requests for assistance may be sent at least 24 hours before departure:
- to the Blue Hall present in the stations where the booked international trains stop;
or
- at the Blue Hall in Roma Termini station [assistenzaclientidisabili.rm@trenitalia.it, tel (+39) 06 4881726] Monday to Friday (7am -9 pm )
